This pancake recipe uses our Altman Farm and Mill Pancake and Waffle Mix.
So this is our Base recipe for pancakes. The same one that is on the bag but with some extra details.
Important: Its best to start with lower heat and increase if needed. These pancakes can burn quickly if you aren't watching. Do a test pancake to start.
3 tablespoons melted butter (allowed to cool a little)
1 cup whole milk
1 large egg
Syrup of your choice (I like real maple syrup or real Cane Syrup)
Directions
Preheat your griddle or skillet to Medium Low
Empty Pancake mix into a mixing bowl
Add milk, butter and egg
Whisk until smooth and there are no lumps
Let the batter rest for 5 minutes
Spray or grease the cooking surface
Spoon batter onto the skillet according the size pancakes you want. It should take about 2 minutes on each side. Cooking time will be a little different depending on your cooking device.
